As a result of the animosity between Hermes and Rachel, the latter ended up sobbing in her own tears as Big Brother announced to the house who would be going on an overnight movie date.
Rachel became upset and accused Hermes of purposefully changing her name to Chichi even though he was aware that she had made the request and was only partnered with Chichi. The rider argued that Hermes’ actions were related to his outward declaration of his dislike for her characteristics.

Hermes labeled Rachel as “diabolical” in response to her outburst, which led him to avoid her. Adekunle was also informed by the former HoH that there was no evil scheme to ruin her movie date.
The housemates had incorrectly believed that they would go on the date in pairs. Big Brother made it clear, though, that only the housemates on the list would have access to the nighttime luxuries.
