The winner of the presidential poll in Delta state has been proclaimed to be Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.
According to the INEC findings, Obi received 341,866 votes, beating out Atiku Abubakar of the PDP who received 161,600 votes. Bola Tinubu of the APC received 90,183 votes to finish third. Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NNPP’s candidate, finished in a distant fourth place with 3,122 votes.
654 650 ballots were counted out of the 667 149 accredited voters, according to INEC. They claimed that 39,309 votes were rejected while 615,341 votes were registered as being valid.
